Brainspotting Phase 2: April 6th-8th 2019, Brighton
Starts: 6th April 2019
Ends: 8th April 2019
Time: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
The new Phase 2 format has been extended and is taught over 3 days to include even more skills, techniques and discussion time. All are welcome, even those that have previously done the old Phase 2 and are looking to revisit, refresh and further consolidate their expertise.
The training will begin with an extensive review of Outside/Inside Window with an emphasis on how to clinically interact with clients during Brainspotting. We will then learn refinements of the process including how and when to titrate activation up or down and combined Inside-Outside Window.
Trainees will be introduced and work with important new dimensional Brainspotting concepts using the “Z-Axis” of Brainspotting and Convergence Therapy which expands the Z-Axis to activate the vagus nerve through the ocularcardiac reflex.
Other new concepts include Rolling BSP, One Eye BSP and the Advanced Resource Model.
Techniques taught with Power Point lecture, discussion with Q & A, demonstrations and practicums.
Through lecture, live demonstration and small group practice participants will learn to do the following:
- Review components taught in Brainspotting (Outside, Inside Window and Gazespotting)
- Define Frame and Focus Brainspotting Diagnosis and Treatment
- Demonstrate 3 Dimensional Z-Axis and convergence Therapy
